The mission of Vortt Exploration is to be a growth-oriented and environmentally sensitive entity that is respected for the quality and competency of its people, the efficiency and scope of its operations and its rich heritage of honesty and integrity.

OPERATIONS

For an energy company to be successful, it must first replace declining production volumes and then build appreciable growth on top. Vortt’s vision is one that consistently builds value, and looks out for the rights of its royalty owners.

Property Acquisition

The acquisition of property is always of interest to Vortt. In particular those properties previously owned by major companies, which are already proven as productive. They are forecasted to produce for years to come, making them low-risk by nature. The proven production and reasonably low costs of production gives Vortt an upside to increase reserves.

Finding Oil and Natural Gas

The chief deposits of "dry natural gas" are in Texas, Louisiana, Kansas, Oklahoma, Kentucky and West Virginia. Considering both "wet" and "dry" natural gas, the leading states are Texas, California, West Virginia, Louisiana, Kansas, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Ohio. "Proved reserves" in the US are around 160 trillion cubic feet of gas.

As with oil, finding gas is the job principally of geologists and many of the same techniques are used, especially seismic studies. Sometime natural gas is discovered in the search for oil.

Drilling prospects are formed focusing on 3-D seismic programs and the corresponding drilling possibilities as a result of 3-D activities. Led by a strong technical staff enabling it to react quickly and effectively on new opportunities, Vortt is always looking to develop industry alliances.

Currently Vortt is targeting Texas Gulf Coast, Northwestern Louisiana, and Southern Utah prospects and past production areas, many of which are seen as the last vast position in the lower 48 states to have substantial untapped reserves.
